James was quite up front about asking me for the business, an approach I really liked, since I’ve been in his shoes before and know how hard it is to get a business off the ground. I travel to Southwater a lot and saw that he’d got sale boards around the village despite not being long established, so I thought I’d give him a shot alongside my other 2 existing agents. Within a day, he’d come to my house, taken excellent photographs, done the floorplan and had posted my house onto his website. The following week he came with a buyer – who immediately offered on the property. I have since accepted the offer, and we’re moving toward completion.
Homed:In was by far the most informative, proactive and efficient estate agent I’ve worked with, and I’ll be staying in touch with them once all this goes through.
My existing estate agents weren’t delivering the viewing numbers I had originally hoped for, and so I thought I would try a more low cost option who took a slightly different approach with their marketing. Gladly, it paid off.
It’s been an all round refreshing experience. James only needed one viewing to get an offer on the table, and it’s always easy to get hold of them, no matter the time of day.
One of my friends sold his property through an online agent, so I knew what to expect. What I didn’t want was to pay my money up front, so when Homed:In said they did everything that the high street agents do, only cheaper, it immediately put me at ease.
I think we worked it out to be in the region of £4,500 that I’d be saving – a nice touch that will go a long way towards my moving costs!!
